billFT — Receipt Scanner & Spending Tracker

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the billFT mobile application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

billFT is a personal finance tool designed for receipt scanning, data extraction (OCR), budgeting, and document archiving. The App is provided for your personal, non-commercial use only.

3. Accuracy of Data & OCR Disclaimer

You acknowledge that:

OCR Technology is not perfect: The automated parsing of receipts (dates, totals, vendors) may contain errors.
User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all data extracted by the App. billFT is not liable for financial discrepancies, incorrect tax filings, or denied warranty claims resulting from inaccurate data parsing.
Original Documents: You should maintain physical or high-quality original digital copies of your receipts as required by your local tax authorities (e.g., the CRA in Canada).

4. Not Financial or Tax Advice

The App is a record-keeping tool only. billFT and its developer do not provide professional financial, accounting, or tax advice. Use of the App does not create a professional-client relationship.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, branding (including the "billFT" name and logo), code, and design elements are the exclusive property of Oleg Romanyshyn. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law in Ontario, Canada, billFT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of errors in content or unauthorized access to servers.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and defined at the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. You agree that any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario.
