Account & Data Deletion
You have the right to delete your account and all data associated with it.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:
- Your account credentials (email address and password)
- All receipts and receipt images you have uploaded
- All item-level data extracted from your receipts
- Your household / family group membership and any receipts shared within it
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Data deleted from our servers cannot be
recovered.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app
The quickest way to delete your account is directly in billFT:
- Open the app and sign in
- Go to Settings
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm the action — deletion happens immediately
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app, send a deletion request to
[email protected] from the email address registered to your account.
- Email [email protected] from your registered address
- Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request
- Include your registered email address in the message body
We will confirm deletion within 7 business days.
Send deletion request
Your email client will open with a pre-filled message. Just add your registered email address and send.
