We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy.

billFT ("we", "our", "the app") is a receipt scanning and expense tracking application. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data You Provide

For users in Anonymous Mode, all financial/login data is stored locally on the device and is never accessed by the developer. Data is only transmitted to our secure servers if the user explicitly opts-in to the Cloud Sync/Family Sharing feature.

2. Data Collected Automatically

We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or third-party tracking of any kind.

3. Camera and Photo Library

The app requests access to your camera and photo library solely to capture or import receipt images. Images are processed on-device using OCR to extract receipt data. Images may be uploaded to our cloud storage if you have cloud sync enabled.

4. Cloud Sync

Cloud sync is optional and can be disabled in Settings. When enabled, your receipt data and images are stored on our servers hosted at billft.com to enable backup, restore, and family sharing. Your data is not sold or shared with third parties.

5. Family Sharing

If you join or create a family group, receipts you mark as shared are visible to other members of that group. You can mark any receipt as private to exclude it from family view. You can leave a family group at any time in Settings.

6. Email

We send emails only when you explicitly trigger an action — for example, sending a family invitation or sharing a receipt. We do not send marketing emails.

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from within the app (Settings → Delete Account). Deletion is irreversible.

billFT is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
